I reached the limits of the stock ATI hat and filter. No matter what we do we cant get anymore power out of the stock ATI Hat and filter. Since we are around 800HP on a stock engine we are going to call it a day and say that we accomplished our goal. Now we want to save the stock engine for another project i have and I already ordered a short block that could handle 1100-1300HP. The goal will be to max out the D-1SC blower and run 50-100 shot of Nitrous
The new setup will be:
A forged 408 LQ9 block Iron block that is built to handle 1100-1300HP
We are going to run a 3.4 SC pulley and a 7.65 Crank pulley to get the maximum impeller speed of the blower at 6800RPM
We are going with a larger custom cam 230/240 .600 .610 114
The heads are going to be AFR 225cc casting with 72cc chamber and 2.08 intake and 1.60 exhaust valves
Since the IAT reached 140f from 70f at the dyno that means the stock twin interccolers are maxed out so we are going with a FMIC 4" piping to the TB
To fight the overheating problems we will need a larger radiator with two 3000 CFM fans
Then the tuning will be on a 3 bar SD tune
The injectors might have to be upgraded to 96lbs running low impedence box converter
To get more power out of the blower we will take the ATI hat and filter off and put a 90 degree 4" elbow on the blower that will flow alot better. This should give us 2-3psi and 80-100rwhp more
Everything should be done within the next month or so
