Honda Develops Multi-View Camera System
TOKYO, Japan - Honda has developed a multi-view camera system which is designed to help the driver see the blind spots during parking, driving through 3-way intersection with limited visibility or on narrow roads.
The system employs four wide-angle cameras located in the front and back of the vehicle and on the side mirrors. The combined view from four cameras along with additional information is displayed on the vehicle's navigation screen. This multi-view camera system will be installed on the all-new Odyssey, which is scheduled to go on sale in Japan in October of this year.
