If you want to go all out drop a big block Jet Ram with aluminum heads engine 502cid + 400 shot of progressive Nitrous. This setup should put you around 900HP and over 1000TQ. Run a TH400 transbrake tranny with 9inch Ford rear end and spool. This should put u in the 9's or so if you have good suspension and tires.

Make sure u have the safety equipments such as roll bar, fuel cell, Drive Shaft lope, etc....



Or if you want a Manual car then get a cammed with ported heads LS7 engine with Long tube headers and mount it to a T56 tranny and 12 bolt rear end. Then add 150 Nitrous shot. This setup should put u between ....................... 800 to 850 HP and 700-750 TQ or so


For me drive the LS7 is way more fun than a big block, but thats just me

If you just care about the 1/4mile i think the Big Block will be faster and last longer

Dont forget tuning these engines are key to success and reliability
