Dear Sir:
I would like to bring to your kind attention that I have purchased KIA OPIRUS Car
Model 2004, Chassis No. KNALD 224145026805. The car in under manufacturers warranty for five (5) years. A problem occurred in the axle of the car which was broken. I contacted your agent Haji Hussein Ali Reza, Yanbu, Saudi Arabia, from whom I purchased the subject car.
I was advised by Haji Hussein Ali Reza that maintenance responsibilities of KIA cars have been transferred to Saudi KIA. After a long process of kicking between your agent Haji Hussein Ali Reza and Saudi KIA, each of them denying their responsibilities, Saudi KIA informed me that they will transport the car from Yanbu (where I live) to Jeddah at their cost. They also informed me that they will check whether the problem should be borne by me or Saudi KIA. Then they advised me later that the car will be kept for two days at my cost and will be returned also at my cost.
I requested Saudi KIA to instruct their Agent in Yanbu to repair the car but they refused. The lengthy process and refusal by both parties Haji Hussein Ali Reza and Saudi KIA has caused me loss of time and money. Due to this situation, I was compelled to rent a car for almost two months. To avoid further expenses of renting the car, I had to repair the car at my expense.
However, please let me know who is actually responsible, whether Haji Hussein Ali Reza or Saudi KIA for the maintenance of my car which is still under warranty. I am in consultation with my legal advisor in preparing a legal case against KIA for claim.
Your prompt response to this subject is appreciated.
Very truly yours,
