ابي الفرق بين محرك كمارو مديل 99 و تحت و 2000 و فوق شنو الي يفرق ؟؟؟
البعرض يقول انه من 2000 و فوق عليه ثلاجه ZO6
و فيه موضوع انه كبوت الكمارو اس اس الفتحه يقولون انها تعطي 15 حصان هل حقيقي ؟

The only difference between a 99 and 00 LS1 is the cam profile... Even the cam profile differenance is very slim... There is almost no HP difference between the two yearsالمشاركة الأصلية كتبت بواسطة $المهندس$
LS1's that are built in 01+ have the LS6 intake manifold, but at the same time have a smaller cam. So the difference again in HP is almost the same between the 01-02 and the 98-00
LS1's that are built in 98 have the weakest PCM's so they are not ideal for tuning unless you go with an aftermarket PCM.
So the best base engine to start playing with are 01+ because they come with the intake manoifold which is at least 10-15HP more than a LS1 manifold. So a change in cam between 99 and 02 year will yield larger gains on the 02 LS1
The SS hood on the old 97 camaros used to be functional, but the new Camaros the SS hood doesnt give much HP over the normal Hood... The only HP gains on the SS model come from the better exhaust and that is about it. The difference is 10HP at max.
